DESCRIPTION
Weight in the wheels and brakes is where it matters most, this is where every pound saved makes a difference. Improve both ride quality and performance all at once with our lightweight rotors! 2-piece rear rotor upgrade in the same size as the 11" factory rear rotor for a "drop in" fit. These rotors work with the factory rear calipers.
Plain and slotted rotor styles saves 1 lb per side compared to the stock rear rotor. Wave rotor style saves 2.5 lbs per side! Wave rotors are commonly found on motorcycles where weight savings is paramount. Our wave rotors function like stock but weigh much less!
This kit is centered around lightweight aluminum hats built for us by Wilwood. Uses a premium grade iron friction ring. Hardware included.

These friction rings are MADE TO ORDER - allow 2-3 weeks from time of order.
INSTALL NOTES: Minor grinding of the factory brake caliper's bracket is needed for clearance between the nuts on the back of this rotor and the caliper bracket.
Note some photos show old version Wilwood hats, but these are now updated to the scalloped hats shown in the main photo which incorporate improvements over the old Wilwood hats.

Getting the 2 piece rear rotors was the last and final piece of my rotational mass reduction for my nd3. Previously I did 27 pounds of weight reduction by getting the front gwr 2 piece rotors and light weight rims. The Front GWR save 11 pounds.
I should also add, that reduced the weight of my ND3 by 65 pounds of static weight.
My favorite pull in everyday driving is from 3500 to 4500rpm, the feeling has been amplified. Reducing rotational mass for ND is MUST, every pound is worth reducing.
The 2 piece rotors are just a masterpiece visually. Buy it for looks and the feel gains, you wont regret it!
Downsides? there are none.
Beautiful looking 2 piece rotors. Saved 6 pounds off my rotational mass. I already purchased the Front 2 piece GWR rotors which save 11 pounds. My total rotational mass savings are 33 pounds. Including light weight rims. This has transformered my ND3. The engine is more eager to rev, I feel it doesnt have to work as hard as before. Get the 2 piece rotors you wont regret it. They look amazing and add life to your ND!
