Not some universal/generic floor mat that doesn't really fit well in the MX5, the WeatherTech FloorLiner is made based on digital laser scanning of the interior footwell to ensure a perfect contoured fit. A patented tri-extruded composition allows for a rigid core for strength while offering surface friction to the carpet, as well as tactile feel to the surface. The FloorLiner advanced surface design has channels that carry fluid and debris, away from shoes and clothing, into a lower reservoir. The lower reservoir uses additional channeling to minimize fluid movement while driving.

Ryan's Notes: Everybody here loves WeatherTech floor mats! We have them in our personal cars and trucks. These mats are nicely contoured to the shape of the footwell, and protect the carpet from dirt, mud, fluids, etc. When they get dirty, just pull them out and rinse them down with a hose, dry, and pop them back in. SO MUCH BETTER than carpet floor mats that get worn down and grimy over time. I'll put these mats in every vehicle I own from now on.
