APR GTC-300 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing

DESCRIPTION

When properly mounted on the rear of your Miata, a wing can generate large amounts of downforce, increasing the amount of tire grip available on the road. This increased grip allows you to carry higher speeds through turns.

This version of APR's universal GTC-300 is built with custom spacing between the mounts to fit the NC trunk lid. Installation requires drilling holes in your trunk for mounting. Wing is MADE TO ORDER, please allow 1-2 weeks for build time.

This GTC-300 wing spans 67 inches over its optimized 3D airfoil shape. It supplies maximum downforce in sports and touring car applications. Each GTC Series airfoil is composed of lightweight and durable pre-preg carbon fiber composite materials for superior strength and low weight and have a UV-stable clear coat. Supporting the airfoils are 10mm "aircraft grade" 6061 billet aluminum pedestals that come in a flat black powder coat finish. The pedestals are drilled with a multi-hole layout that allows quick and precise adjustment of the wing angle.

RYAN'S NOTES: This wing's adjustability makes it a great match for a wide variety of front-end aero on a MX5. At a shallow (horizontal) angle it pairs well with mild additions such as a front lip spoiler or canards. At steeper angles it produces enough downforce to balance a racing front airdam and splitter.

Picture below is of the GTC-300 on our project ND car, but here you are ordering the version for NC. Wing width and height are the same as in the photo, but mount spacing is adjusted to fit NC trunk.
