The ID1050x is the evolution of the ID1000, and the latest addition to the X-Series. It is the most recent offering from the partnership of Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport. The ID1050x is not a modified production component. It is a built to spec motorsport injector, offering optimization of critical operating parameters important to you, the motorsport tuner. Compared to the original ID1000, the ID1050x offers numerous improvements, and is sure to become the new reference.
The ID1000 was the first offering from Injector Dynamics, and was also the first to offer a number of innovative features to the motorsport community. This series of innovations and "firsts" made it the most popular - and most copied - injector on the market today. With a maximum pressure capability of 7 bar and smooth response at low flow, it's a versatile injector that will be at home in many different applications. From high power high boost daily drivers, to NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles and record setting turbo road race sedans, the ID1000 set the standard and marked the beginning of a new era in fuel injector performance.
ID1000 was the first injector offered with full dynamic characterization providing tuners with the data they needed to do their job properly. It was the first injector to be offered in dead time matched sets. It was the first high impedance high flow injector available providing stock idle and drivability on engines as small as 325cc per cylinder. It was the first injector offered with the now standard "Top Hat Adapter" making it plug and play in nearly any application.

APRIL 2024 UPDATE: These injectors have been updated by Injector Dynamics and now have the wiring connectors for 90-05 Miatas permanently fused and potted on to the injector. Older version of this injector required a wiring adapter, but that is no longer necessary.
Whether you have high compression N/A motor or forced induction application, Injector Dynamics 1050cc fuel injectors will be the last set you'll need.
The ID1050X will flow enough fuel for over 400WHP in your NA or NB Miata all while having the capability to idle stoich at 14.7:1 AFR. Additionally, Injector Dynamics provides you with the technical data necessary to properly program your stand alone ECU for the perfect tune.
So far a great set of injectors. I installed them on my 03 Miata (with MS3pnp ) and re-tuned to the car before adding my TDR Rotrex kit this coming winter. The car idles great and still running fine N/A so far. I bought these injectors to give me plenty of headroom to grow in the future once my C30-94 supercharger is installed.
