For over 20 years Powerflex has been the market leader in high performance polyurethane suspension bushings with the widest and fastest growing product offering. Goodwin Racing has teamed up with Powerflex to create a full vehicle package of their high durometer Black Series bushings for the MX5.

For the ultimate in performance Powerflex offers The Black Series. Bushings developed for Race, Rally and Track use. Powerflex Black Series bushings are manufactured using a 95 Shore A compound to provide maximum control of chassis geometry. This compound can be up to 80% more resistant to load than standard rubber and 25% stiffer than other polyurethane bushing options.

Ryan's Notes: Pure race cars sometimes convert to solid bushings or bearing replacements in the suspension to eliminate bushing deflection under high loads. But those options come at much higher cost, substantially shorter service intervals with high consumable costs, and wayyyy harsher NVH than bushings. These stiffer 95 durometer bushings are the perfect balance; less deflection than all other bushing kits so you get the very direct handling performance with no flex that you want for race and high performance applications, but because they are still polyurethane they avoid that massive NVH drawback of solid bushings, and while more cost than some other softer bushing kits, these are a bargain compared to solid bushings or bearings (and those usually require custom fabrication too).
