DESCRIPTION

Delete that cumbersome and rather annoying sound tube on your ND Miata. Being aluminum, this offers a much more robust part that will not become brittle/hard in old age or break easily like the OE unit.

Exclusive Benefits:
A more appropriate sound while driving
Less clutter and a much cleaner look in the engine bay
~1 lb in weight loss
No longer worry about breaking the plastic sound tube nipple; leaving you stranded in the middle of a modification

Construction:
Machined 6061-T6 Aluminum
Bright-dip black anodized
Plastic push-in cover for hole in firewall
Laser engraved logo

Note it was originally designed on ND1, but we have test fit it on ND2 and it fits that as well.

Verus Engineering Sound Tube Delete

When I bought the Verus sound tube Delete I didn't have any expectations besides cleaning up the engine bay. A lot of the reviews say it doesn't make any difference at all, and when you look up YouTube videos it doesn't do it justice.

From my first-hand experience, it DOES make a difference with the sound. I'm in my late 20's so maybe I'm more sensitive to the sounds.

Initial Impression of the product is exactly what you would expect it to be. If you want a more OEM look, there are other options on the market but I am a sucker for Billet Aluminum.

My only gripe is I wish it had cutouts for the OEM intake boot's indexing protrusions, It kind of just sits on top of them. ( You can always just cut the little indexing tabs off the intake boot for a cleaner look)

When it comes to sound, the cabin was noticeably quieter for me at Idle. You don't get any of that "grainy" or "metallic" sound below 4500k RPM.

This simple mod is a welcomed add-on to my car and driving experience! :D

I agree with other reviews. Slightly decreases cabin noise but nothing dramatic. Would buy again because I like deleting unnecessary stuff.

Didn't notice a difference in sound, but it sure does clean up the engine bay!!

I could have done this with some stuff from a home improvement store, but this kit looks so good that it looks OEM. Not one person has noticed it and it's perfect for what I wanted. Very happy with it

I recently installed a sound tube delete kit together with a JBR silicone intake
and a K+ N filter to try to create a very efficient intake for my normally aspirated 2.0 L.
engine. The assembly went very good. This gives the under the hood appearance a
little bit of a cleaner look. ( added benefit) However, due to the fact I have my car
in storage for the winter, I can not make a comment on actual performance.
